I posted an idea on Threads: profiles should have highlights for the things we’re into right now. A “Currently Watching” status that can change as shows come and go through the year.
Then I thought: what if I built that space myself?
A little of what I’m into
That became Currently. Shows are the main event. Lioness is my current favorite, with a rotating spotlight, a watchlist, and a smaller space for movie nights. A dark, cinematic layout keeps the focus on the shows.
A reason to join in
“I’m watching too” adds a reaction to a shared count. Tap again to undo it. It’s a small way to see our overlapping interests without creating another account.
The part I’m most interested in is what happens next. Suggest a show or movie, leave a thought, and choose whether I may feature it. Selected suggestions can appear in Community Picks with my response. You can choose anonymous credit, use your handle, or keep your message private.
Submissions are reviewed before they appear publicly. Counts represent browser-level reactions, not verified unique people, and the privacy notice explains how the site handles information.
A clear invitation
New visitors get a simple choice: react to a show we share or recommend my next watch. The focus stays on shows and movies, with Married at First Sight and Love Island in the reality rotation. The spotlight changes automatically, and an icon button lets you pause or resume it.
This is a personal project built around a simple need: a current-interest highlight that invites a real conversation. The site gives that conversation a starting point, and we can keep in touch on Threads.
